Overview
One of the more dramatic and beautiful church settings in Italy, The church of Our Lady of The Snow & Olive (Eremo Madonna degli Ulivi o delle Neve) is perched on top of a mountain next to Maratea's statue of the Cristo overlooking the sea, the stunning serpentine coast of Maratea (one of the most dramatic in Europe), and two National Parks. In the photo above you cansee the Pollino National Park with 9000 feet plus peaks and some of Italy's last wolf packs. Off to the left is the Cilento National Park and it's beautiful coast mountains and some of the finest beaches in Italy.- Permits ALL types of religious ceremonies - Catholic ceremonies are legal, all other legal weddings require civil approval
- Must have recognized clergy person perform the ceremony (e.g., priest, minister, rabbi, etc)

Area Info
Located in Italy's last undiscovered, unspoiled area - literally stunning - Coast of Maratea & The Cilento National Park. Traveler Magazine says "Maratea is Heaven - It's The Amalfi Without The Crowds.... Italy's Best Kept Secret".
It is just to the south of the Amalfi coast; however, much easier, cheaper, and faster to get to - excellent high-speed road and rail service from Naples (many airlines) and Lamezia Terme (Ryan Air & Alitalia).
