Perhaps Italy's Most Dramatic Wedding Venue for Legal Civil weddings
The 13th century Cistercian Abbey of San Galgano is perhaps one of the most dramatic settings for a legal Civil wedding, not just in Italy, but anywhere. It is in iconic Tuscan countryside not far from Siena. Note: No symbolic ceremonies allowed. Catholic weddings can be held in at Catholic church next to the abbey. Note: scroll down to see days of week, times and cost. NOTE: For 2019, the Abbey will be under Renovation and there will be scaffolding all around the building and some on the inside near the corners; however, weddings can still take place.
