Calosso (Calòss in Piedmontese) is an Italian town of 1,263 people in the province of Asti, in Piedmont.
It stands on a high hill whose name derives from the Roman nobleman Callocius or Callucius, as indicated by Olivieri in 1965.
It is located not far from the municipalities of Canelli and Costigliole d'Asti, between the valleys of Nizza and Tinella.
