Villa Vassalli

Clinging to the sides of the Marcaneto Mountain and overlooking the tranquil Bay of Policastro and the pristine port of Scario is a sprawling cluster of very private and romantic stone cottages set in the midst of acres of beautiful Italian gardens of flowers, cliffs, rocks, and woods. The compound has its own tennis court (jutting out of a cliff) and swimming pool. Because of its sprawling nature, it is one of the few environments that quiet relaxation and fun co-exist easily.

The Villa Vassalli retreat (self catering) is perfect for weddings and for group get-togethers. A three minute drive down the hill takes you to the restaurants, cafe's and boutiques of the ancient and delightful fishing port and boating haven of Scario. Also directly at the bottom of hill is one of the most beautiful coves on the Mediterranean - Tragara - perfect calm and crystal waters looked over by an ancient Saracen watch tower and picture-perfect maritime pines.
