Villa Cheta, is a
wonderful liberty style villa of 18th century that was built by the owners family, whose famous hospitality made the villa a luxurious
hideaway where noble families spent their vacations. Donna , a
passionate cook, offered her guests delicious dishes with selected
wines of the region. In 1982, cherishing the local tradition, Villa
Cheeta has been lovingly transformed into a charming small
hotel, keeping the family-villa atmosphere. It has still the
art nouveau era glass panels and lamps. Bedrooms are individually
decorated using family antique furniture. The halls and lounge are
prettily set with lace table clothes and chintz sofas.
The outstanding restaurant offers fish specialties
with the emphasis on traditional regional cooking. Most days, the
climate is so balmy that breakfast and dinners are served on the terraces,
where the sea can be glimpsed through the bougainvillea, splashes of
flowers, and ancient trees.
The Hotel has a splendid background of
Mediterranean pined mountains, and overlooks a shimmering and
crystal clear sea. Guests enjoy the beach directly below . |
