Payment Schedule
Methods of Payment
If contract is OK, we need:
• Card type - must be Visa or MasterCard or Discovery - we can accept debit cards, but we treat them as credit cards to avoid asking for your PIN number.
• Card number
• Card expiration date
• Last three digits of seven-digit code on back of card.
• name of card holder
• Billing address of card holder.
You can fax this to us at number below. Or, call at the US number below (NY time). Or, you can put the card information in the contract document and PDF it and send it. Or, you can simply take a photo of the back & front of the card and email them.
Note: All credit card charges are charged in US dollars. Unlike banks, etc, we use the EXACT market exchange rate as per www.xe.com/ucc.
If you don't wish to pay by credit card, you can wire the payment to our bank account ($USs). NOTE: when we receive wire transfers, we take the $s deposited and use the exact exchange rate (per www.xe.com/ucc) when the payment arrives to determine the Euro amount deposited.
Or, we have found TransferWise (www.transferwise.com) to be by far the least expensive wire transfer company, plus they deposit the full amount of US$s into our account based on the Euro amount due. You would use www.xe.com/ucc for exchange rate to US$s.
NOTE: If you prefer to do a wire transfer, let me know which option and I will send you our bank information.
NOTE: ALL WIRE TRANSFERS MUST BE MADE in $US.
Or, if you wish to pay in Euros€, we have a PayPal Euro account (NOTE: we add 2% fee for using PayPal – their 4% fee is exorbitant).
Once we receive the deposit – we will confirm all bookings with the hotels, etc.
Cancellation Policy
In general, we usually can accommodate changes, provided the venue or service provide is OK with them (usually the case).
However, cancellation can result (and usually does) in the loss of any deposits made.
- 25% on contract signing, 25% 120 days before arrival, 50% 45 days before arrival.

This agreement, dated ?? defines an agreement whereby Slow Dreams, Inc. (THE COMPANY) Sapri, Italy, an organizer of events and trips, will arrange a wedding and accommodation in Italy on behalf of ??, address?? (THE CLIENT). Slow Dreams is a registered Delaware Corporation.
This contract become valid upon payment of the first deposit ( see Payment/Cancellation Schedule) by THE CLIENT and acceptance via email by THE COMPANY.
Goods & Services To Be Rendered
- The Wedding Budget section (above) lists all services and goods with their prices that THE CLIENT contracts to buy through Slow Dreams
- If any goods or services become unavailable for whatever reasons THE COMPANY reserves the right to substitute similar goods or services. However, before substituting THE COMPANY will consult with THE CLIENT and make a good faith effort to meet the wishes of THE CLIENT regarding the substitution.
- With the exception of accommodation (see below), The CLIENT can readily change the goods and services anytime. However, the changes cannot bring the total value of the goods and services to be purchased to less than the total deposits due at the date of the requested change.
- For change requests to accommodations, THE company will make a good faith effort to work with the appropriate management to make the changes requested with minimum loss to THE CLIENT. However, THE CLIENT risks all deposits paid for accommodations. As such, THE CLIENT is urged to consider wedding or travel insurance from a third party.
- All prices are subject to change. However, all changes must be consistent with relevant price changes as shown on THE COMPANY’s web site and are being offered to their general customer base. THE COMPANY cannot apply arbitrary changes to THE CLIENT.
- If for whatever reason (e.g., the supplier has gone out of business) any of the suppliers of the above products or services will not or cannot supply the appropriate products or services, THE COMPANY will make a good faith effort to get the suppliers to reimburse to THE CLIENT any monies paid on behalf of THE CLIENT by THE COMPANY to the supplier for those products or services. In addition, THE COMPANY will reimburse to THE CLIENT all monies it has received from THE CLIENT for those products or services less any payments THE COMPANY has made to the suppliers for those products or services. (Note: THE COMPANY does advise THE CLIENT to consider purchasing wedding insurance through their own agent, as a prudent precaution.)
- THE CLIENT may add or subtract to a specific service or product at anytime with the following conditions: 1. the change cannot reduce the total cost of the product or service to less than the total of the payments already made toward that product or service, plus any payments that should have been made prior to the date of the change request. See payment schedule below. 2. All involved parties (e.g., THE COMPANY, service providers) must agree.

Cancellation
- THE CLIENT may cancel this contract at anytime by email. The penalties for cancellation are detailed on the section above - Payment/Cancellation Schedule
- This agreement is subject to the following limitations:
- Under no circumstances shall THE COMPANY or any of their employees, directors, officers, or agents, be liable for any direct or indirect losses or damages, including injuries to the CLIENT or any guest of the client arising out of or in connection with the use of or inability to use the goods and services as defined in article A. This is a comprehensive limitation of liability that applies to all losses and damages of any kind (whether general, special, consequential, incidental, exemplary or otherwise, including without limitation loss of data, income or profit), whether in contract, negligence or other tortuous action, even if an authorized representative of any of THE COMPANY has been advised of or should have known of the possibility of such damages.
- THE COMPANY is not liable for any actions or lack of actions by THE CLIENT, Church, Consulate, The Prefettura or the appropriate Italian Town Hall that result in the inability of THE CLIENT to obtain necessary documentation. However, THE COMPANY will take a good faith effort, in consultation with THE CLIENT, to rectify the situation if possible with minimum expense to THE CLIENT. THE COMPANY strongly recommends that THE CLIENT schedules visits to the above offices well in advance of the wedding day so that remedial action is possible.
- The CLIENT is wholly responsible for ensuring attendance at the venues and dates defined above. However, in the event of any problem, for whatever reason, THE COMPANY will make a good faith effort to reschedule the event for a time most suitable for THE CLIENT.
- THE CLIENT is wholly responsible for providing the correct documentation to the appropriate authorities in a timely manner. However, in the event of any problem, for whatever reason, THE COMPANY will make a good faith effort to help THE CLIENT to get the necessary approvals, and to attempt to have the event held as best suits THE CLIENT.
Severability
- Each provision of these terms and conditions, shall be construed as separately applying and surviving even if for any reason one or other of those provisions is held to be inapplicable or unenforceable in any circumstances and shall remain in force notwithstanding the termination of these terms and conditions howsoever occasioned.
Governing Law
- This Agreement shall be governed and interpreted pursuant to the laws of the State of Delaware, United States of America.
Ceremonies at Il Carrubo Beach Restaurant
On the stone terrace down at the beach at Il Carrubo from May 1st to October 31st (weather permitting)
If you are looking for something more dramatic and rustic, you can have the ceremony down by the sea. The path is about 500 meters from the main hotel. It is a beautiful walk down. For those who do not want to walk, golf carts are available. Note: for this area, the hotel has white wicker chairs & the terrace is now stone - see photos below. New area that has just been renovated, so we have very few pictures.

- hotel can accommodate 80 white chairs, rest could stand - 6 rows of 6 on each side
Plan B
- In case of rain, we would have the ceremony in the living area overlooking the sea and the dinner in the dining room.
Ceremony on the Top Terrace at Santavenere Hotel

hotel can accommodate 50 white chairs & the rest could stand - 6 rows of 4 on each side
This is an excellent choice having your ceremony on ceramic turquoise tiled terrace (La Terrazza) high up overlooking the sea
An aperitif spread will be served after the ceremony in the same area that you choose the ceremony to be. Please see your menu to see what is included.
Below are some ideas to dress up your ceremony spots:
- Aisle runner - € 150. The colour choices are: Green, blue, burgundy, violet or white
- Rose petals scattered down the aisle – starting at € 150
- Flower Arch - Please send a photo along with the type of flowers you would like and we will get a quote for you
- Sashes (shear or non-shear) tied to back of chairs - € 5 each. Note: Let us know what colour you prefer
- Ceremony arrangements – Please send a photo along with the type of flowers you would like and we will get a quote for you
- Lanterns - if you are interested in these for down the aisle, we will get a quote for you.
- If you have other ideas, please send them through and we will get quotes

Bar (in area): The bar is private for weddings. Note: If the B&G are paying for drinks, it will be put on the tab for the B&G to pay when they check out. If the guests are paying for the drinks, then they give the waiter or the barman the cash.

Receptions at Hotel Santavenere at La Terrazza
Reception on the Terrace overlooking the sea.

- Minimum: 2 people
- Maximum: 100 people

Décor included:
- Choices of color tablecloths: Navy blue with a white tablecloth on top to break it up and matching blue napkin or cream (more of a champagne color – elegant; white or yellow table cloth with matching napkin or white on white.
- White chairs with white cushions.
- Service plate/charger is white with blue rim, see pic in file. The china is all white.
- Flowers and tea lights are not included. Note: Please send us photos of flower centerpieces for the tables you would like and we will get a quote for you.
- They have 4 round tables that seat 10 people and the rest seat 8 people. They can do a minimum of 4 at a table and maximum of 10. You can have tables set up for 4, 6, 8, 10 (Note: 4 tables of 10)
- For a small wedding of up to 25 max, they can do one long table
- 1 Menu every other person ( they use simple cream colored paper that matches seating plan. The seating board is standard style, cream paper with brown writing for La Terrazza with B&G’s name & date of wedding)
Dancing: There is a dance floor usually on top terrace.
Reception in Dining Room (Plan B)
- Maximum: 100
- Dinner can begin at 7:30 p.m.
- Note: the chairs are different, they are antique wooden chairs.
Décor included:
- Choices of color tablecloths: Navy blue with a white tablecloth on top to break it up and matching blue napkin or white on white)
- White chairs with white cushions at il Carrubo
- The charger/service plate at il Carrubo is milky white with painted fish around boarder, and the china is the same with blue fish.
- Flowers and tea lights are not included, but there is a lantern candle included in setup. See photo above. Note: Please send us photos of flower centerpieces for the tables you would like and we will get a quote for you.
- They have 4 round tables that seat 10 people and the rest seat 8 people or square tables. They can do a minimum of 4 at a table and maximum of 10. You can have tables set up for 4, 6, 8, 10 (Note: 4 tables of 10)
- They can also do one long table for up to 25
- 1 Menu every other person ( they use simple cream colored paper that matches seating plan. The seating board is standard style, cream paper with blue writing at Carrubo with B&G’s name & date of wedding.
- Lighting: They have led lighting in this area (dim lighting). The atmosphere is very romantic, not bright, but a dim atmosphere. If someone wants to rent fairy lights, they can put them on the rope on the terrace where they will be eating; it is too difficult to put on the trees. They do not have enough outlets for electricity.
Bar (in area): The bar is private for weddings. Note: If the B&G are paying for drinks, it will be put on the tab for the B&G to pay when they check out. If the guests are paying for the drinks, then they give the waiter or the barman the cash.
