The
Palace's Story
Il Palazzo del Capo,
now a five star luxury hotel, with its extraordinary bridal suite
on top of the it's Castello Spagnolo, and its stunning cliff top
position overlooking the bluest of sea is made for the perfect
wedding in Italy.
The newly renovated
Palace, built in various phases from the XI to XVIII century, was the
residence of the Family of the Dukes De Aloe. The Palace
architecture and its castle offers an authentic and historic
atmosphere; yet offers a luxurious and relaxing environment
featuring a fine restaurant specializing in the best of local cuisine
and wines, a large pool, private beach with summer restaurant, and
finely manicured lawns. In addition to its local
specialties, the restaurant also offers fine international dishes and
wines.
The thirteen rooms
and and three suites are spacious with radio, TV, telephone, air
condition, safe, mini bar, antique furniture, and beds with fine linen
sheets. There are five sitting rooms, and as many
patios overlooking the sea to catch up on your reading or
correspondence, or just to nap in tranquil historical
surroundings.
The lawns and
gardens, crowned by tall noble palm-trees, are bathed by the sun from
dawn to sunset. Antique olive and grape presses add just that
extra touch. From the lawns and patios you can meander
down the face of the cliff planted by a collection of local wild
Mediterranean shrubs and flowers. At the bottom there is the
private beach and summer restaurant.
Finally, important
for many couples, there is a private chapel in the palace for wedding
and blessings, or for just moments of solitude and reflection.
