Hotel Villa delle Meraviglie does not have suitable back up facilities in case of rain for ceremonies & receptions.  Therefore the alternative reception venues are:

• The Santavenere. (minimum 20 guests - one mile away).    Santavenere provides a free room or suite (if available) for the bride & groom for  the wedding night, plus pays to transport your guests from Hotel Villa delle Meraviglie to and from the Santavenere.    The Santavenere is stunningly beautiful and its receptions are very reasonably priced, especially for a luxury five star hotel.    The ceremony would be at Santavenere. 

• In an elegant seaside restaurant (1.5 miles away) overlooking the ancient port of Maratea.  Menus on request.  This option is most attractive for smaller weddings - less than 20 guests, but could fit up to 40 guests.  The ceremony would be at the hotel.  Ceremony hosting fee of €350.

• Right next door (150 yards away) is the Inn at Fiumicello -  this is ideal for up to 60 persons. Note:  All rooms in the inn must be booked.      The ceremony would be at the inn. 

Note: Meraviglie pool  bar will open until the wee wee wee hours for post reception celebrations, regardless of what option is selected if booked ahead of time.
